Speed, Battery and temperature level must be in big letters — clearly visible For now KS aplication is much below my expectations - too many useless icons on the main screen, speed readout is badly visible, no contrasting colors, too small texts, terrible graphic design, really nothing to write home about!!!

The old app was terrible but worked most of the time It always required me to turn something off and on again or do a manual connection or all of the above, witch works after a few minutes of messing around.
The new app requires crazy permissions but even after I agree it will not let me log on or register. It says to "put in the correct email" or shows some or other error making it impossible to date to use it.
It has been over a year of struggle, uninstall and reinstall or re-download and try again every few months hoping it will be fixed or re-released. In order to switch to euc world app, do I need to remove my wheel from KS app first?

Sounds like you're just going to have Please Decelerate forever now. Kidding, try adding a couple KM, try making sure the KS app is not connected to bluetooth whatsoever or even the KS Sound, and try connecting to Darknessbot.
US69 can you help with this? I'm asking this because I could create for me an valid account with any version or Kingsong app in my country. I'm having this problem, too. My 18XL has about km on it. I can change the speed settings in the KS app to above 20 kph but the "confirm" button won't depress so the app won't push the new speed settings to my 18XL.
When I go back into the speed settings, they're still capped at 20 kph. When I touch it, nothing happens. It doesn't change color, no confirmation 'click' -- nothing.
It doesn't appear as though it was selected in any way. You might need to force close app power off wheel. Or logout if app turn off wheel then login in the app and turn on wheel again. I'm running v1. The KS app says that the latest firmware version is v1. I haven't burned this newest version because there are a lot of horror stories about bricked KS wheels, so I'm going by the adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". As a lot of bricked wheels, from firmware updating.
Yes it can happen with any product you update, not just KS wheels. I think you should download the latest app and do a firmware update. Make sure you disabled display rotation and your phone is charged. Haven't we got a softtuner for Android , I have the old one when I was testing firmware for kingsong , I just need a valid username and password as mine has expired.

I was planning to disassemble the wheel and make a switch to route the buzzer power to a subtle LED light showing me when there's communication, because I couldn't bear with the annoyance of those horrendous beeps.
