I am a bit leery of any app that doesn't have a ppa or deb file for Ubuntu. It's the largest distro out there. And I doubt this app is good enough to compile and build it from source. I know of few that are. This often happens when the Onboarding feature does not work properly. Generally it is possible to force quit Resolve and next time it starts up correctly.
